Founded by the experienced Angie Seow-Yuen, a trusted instructor with over a decade of expertise, our team offers a holistic Pilates experience. Activation Pilates focuses not just on physical fitness but on unlocking potential and enhancing the mind-body connection. Tailored classes cater to diverse needs, be it one-on-one, duet, or group sessions. With a commitment to individualised instruction, our team ensures a safe and effective Pilates journey. Angie Seow
Angie’s career journey began in coral restoration research, but a passion for movement and biology led her to transition into the Pilates industry. With a diverse clientele, ranging from pregnant mothers to seniors and professionals, she specializes in addressing musculoskeletal issues such as scoliosis, osteoporosis, knee pains, and shoulder/neck problems. Her focus lies in creating specially-designed exercise programs to alleviate chronic pains and enhance mobility. Angie is particularly dedicated to empowering the elderly and those with specific health challenges. Through her work, she aims to cultivate in her clients a deeper understanding and self-awareness of their own bodies, promoting freedom from discomfort and improved overall well-being.

Flora Yee
Flora is first a secondary school choir instructor and then a Pilates instructor. She has been teaching school choirs since 1996 and participating in regular national and international choir competitions and events with them. Due to a stressful work practice, she used to fall sick frequently. When she started taking up body-mind-soul classes like stretching, Pilates and yoga in 2009, she felt herself becoming healthier and more able to cope with work-related stress. Subsequently, her lifestyle became more balanced.
Flora began to find Pilates very interesting and challenging as there were many modifications and possibilities available for different clientele. There was also more to Pilates than just mat exercises – she realized that the principles of Pilates were also applicable to help her choir students sing better.
Eventually, Flora decided to take up an instructor course to deepen her own knowledge of the subject. With the certification, opportunities to teach and cover Pilates classes became available. Such opportunities exposed her to different types of clients and their needs, helping to better her knowledge of Pilates and at the same time, increasing her desire to learn more.

Tan May Li
May first discovered Pilates as a client. Pilates workouts were initially meant to complement her overall exercise regime but she quickly fell in love with the precision, balance and intelligence of Pilates - which greatly appeal to her inner engineer.
Inspired by her instructors and the changes she felt and witnessed in her own body and sense of well-being, May now delights in sharing the same with her clients. "No matter how you felt before, you'll feel better after Pilates" - whether after a particularly challenging workout or a gentler wake-me-up for the body and mind, May hopes that her clients will say the same. She is warm and friendly, and looks forward to helping her clients achieve their goals while having fun!

Charmaine Ang
Growing up with bad postural habits and a lack of body awareness, together with gruelling demands of her corporate job in Legal and Compliance, Charmaine suffered from years of constant knee and back pain. She was recommended by a physiotherapist ten years ago to Pilates as a form of rehabilitation. Not only did the pain gradually go away, but her body also felt lighter, and her energy levels improved. Before that, Charmaine tried several forms of therapy, but nothing else struck a chord like Pilates.
Passionate about the transformative impact of Pilates, Charmaine decided to pursue Pilates to share its benefits as a lifestyle with others. She firmly believes that each body is uniquely different, and her goal is to inspire and empower clients to be the best version of themselves.

Hana Cha
Hana is a PAI-certified Pilates instructor who has been teaching since 2022, with over 3000 teaching hours under her belt. She specialises in pre-/post- rehabilitation Pilates. Hana believes in the quote Motion is Lotion and want to help people to add quality of their lives.
