At Baby with Bee, our mission is to offer holistic, comprehensive, and personalised fertility, pregnancy, childbirth and parenting support to expectant parents.  We support them throughout their journey to parenthood, guiding them in making informed decisions whether they are trying to conceive, preparing for their baby's arrival or seeking guidance on reproductive health.

We provide personalised or group coaching, counselling and education to optimise our clients' birthing and natural conception, IUI and IVF treatment outcomes.  In addition, we offer coaching and counselling services to help strengthen relationships and build mental resilience throughout the parenthood journey.

Joey Lai
Fertility & Birth Coach and Counsellor

Joey is a professional counsellor, coach and educator providing mental health support to individuals and couples.  She has worked in various settings, including community organisations, hospitals, IVF clinics, as well as private practices, where she has gained experience supporting individuals and couples across diverse background.

She is particularly passionate in supporting couples through the complexities of their fertility and birth journey, offering compassionate guidance and understanding. Her clinical portfolio includes working with clients who are struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, anger, loneliness, grief, stress, burnout, infidelity, and relational issues. 

Known for her warmth and open-mindedness, Joey fosters a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space for her clients. Employing a person-centered approach that blends holistic and psychotherapeutic techniques.  She has had the privilege of journeying with many of them, guiding them on a journey of self-discovery to gain clarity and achieve their goals.

In addition to seeing clients, Joey contributes her expertise to the field by teaching at Thomson Medical Centre, volunteering at WINGS Counselling and serving as an active Executive Committee member of the Association of Hypnosis Professionals Singapore (AHPS).  Joey’s earlier career as an international consultant and her clinical experiences have enriched her perspective, allowing her to effectively work with clients from diverse ages, socioeconomic backgrounds and niche environments.

She is passionate and dedicated to supporting her clients in navigating life’s challenges and restoring hope in their journeys.
