About Couple Sparkle

Couple Sparkle believes in treating your mind and body. They have rehabilitation programs and therapy for stroke, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease. Couple Sparkle takes over post-hospital surgeries with total hip replacement, total knee replacements, ankle and knee injuries, shoulder dislocations, carpal tunnel syndrome, and trigger finger.

They also do counselling for health-related issues if you feel the need for someone to speak to due to stress, feel free to go to them. Healing takes time both internally and externally. Couple Sparkle believes that patients need moral support as well so they encourage couples to come together for treatment as caregivers or even take up their therapy services.

Couple Sparkle provides gym facilities, manual therapy such as gait training, iPad activities for dementia patients to jog their memory as well as maintenance therapies for Parkinson’s disease. They aim to achieve for their patients who are immobile temporarily, a program that takes them out of a wheelchair, and hopefully progresses to a walking frame, followed by a walking stick, and then start walking.

Nisha
Founder of Couple Sparkle

Nisha started Couple Sparkle after she saw the need for couples to stay together through their toughest moments. She wishes for all to receive physiotherapy for their recovery. Both young and old couples, and senior citizens can go through Couple Sparkle's therapy. Physiotherapy also means physical therapy through exercise for a path of recovery after an injury or post-surgery.

After graduation, Nisha worked at St. Andrews in a rehab centre in a gym as well as in senior care, engaging them with recreational activities such as playing games, jigsaw puzzles, singing, etc.

Nisha has also worked with stroke patients, brought them through gait training, passive range of motions, etc. As for dementia patients, they need mind-related therapies, and Nisha used cognitive games that helped them in their memory recall. As for patients with knee and ankle issues, they are brought through manual therapy exercises to strengthen their joints and help them through a gym tonic program.

Nisha also uses bandages or gloves for patients who are unable to place their hands on the handles so that they are still able to move their hands to exercise. For some other patients, balancing activities are used to strengthen their muscles.

Nisha hopes to give the best recovery for her patients of all ages. Nisha founded this company to help patients feel at ease and comfortable in their therapies. Nisha works within Core Collective spaces and has physical therapy areas as well as private treatment rooms that suit your particular needs.
