Personal Training
Personal training is one-on-one instruction that incorporates exercise screening, goal-setting and health education. Personal trainers are certified to have a varying degree of knowledge of general fitness involved in exercise prescription and instruction. They motivate clients by setting goals and providing feedback and accountability to clients. Following a fitness consultation, the trainers are Core Collective will design a workout routine specifically customised to each individual’s needs to reach both short and long term goals.
What can I expect from a personal training session:
 
(A) Customised programmes
A personal trainer will sit down together with you to customise an exercise programme, designed to help you reach your unique health and fitness goals. He/she will take into account special considerations (e.g. existing medical condition, pregnancy, post-rehabilitation, medications taken, etc) when creating the programme.
(B) Practice correct exercise techniques
Safety is the number one priority when exercising. The personal trainer will teach you the proper mechanics of each exercise and ensure that you are performing each with correct form, thus maximizing the efficiency of your workouts while minimising the risks of injuries.
(C) Enhance motivation
Having a scheduled session with a trainer promotes accountability on your part. It assists in developing adherence in the long run to making exercise a regular part of your routine. A personal trainer can also help you develop a more positive outlook on exercise by exploring options to make them more enjoyable, reviewing short-term progress towards goals, and assessing mood changes related to exercise, thereby improving self-confidence and self-motivation
